Knebworth Classic Motor Show 2025.

The Knebworth Classic Motor Show runs for two days over the last bank holiday in the year, situated within the beautiful grounds of Knebworth House.

As this was part of the Clubs 40th birthday celebration, the attendees wore clothing which matched the year of their cars.

This ranged from the subtle elegance of the 1930’s, through to the disco era of the 1970’s and on into the eighties and nineties.

I’ll leave the readers to pass judgement on the merits or other wise of the results…

Another win for LDMGOC – Best Car on Stand for the Club Chair, wearing period attire with his wife and Pepper the dog.

A very wicked waistcoat on display..

A Beastie Boy tribute (without VW hood badges) in the background, foreground a 1970’s migraine disguised as a shirt..

An elegant and distinguished couple, dressed to the nines.

The shoes and trousers that time (and good taste) forgot..

We also tried out the idea of adding some Audio Visual presentations to the stand.

Using a club members van it ran loops of vintage and modern MG adverts spliced in between MG documentaries and Youtube items provided by Graham at Classic MG (thanks Graham).

The weather was excellent and the club car turn out was also fine, with a win for our club chairman in his 1935 two tone MG.

The Monday show was less busy but just as much fun with a decent rain free day, we didn’t win any prizes that day but enjoyed it never the less.

Knebworth was a fitting celebration, great weather and lots of laughs.
