Club Charter:
The Luton and Dunstable MG Owners Club Charter (ver 1.3.1)
Membership is from the AGM in February to the AGM in February and referred to as the “season”.
Membership renewal payment is required within the month of February, new members can join at any time and payment is for the remainder of that season.
Members must attend at least one meeting within that season. Meetings are held on the 1st Tuesday of the month and start at 20:30 at the Cross Keys in Pulloxhill – Pub meetings will also be acceptable as long as either the Secretary or Treasurer is present.
The AGM will be held on the 1st Tuesday in February or as near to this date as possible if postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The AGM will include but is not limited to a review of the clubs finances, a review of the club membership fee and awarding of that seasons trophies. The Secretary and Treasurer will be voted in by the paid up members present at the AGM.
Secretary or Treasurers roles can be nominated via email by a paid up member before the 31st January to be included within the AGM – the existing roles can self nominate at the AGM.
Conduct shall be courteous and respectful to fellow members, spectators and marshals at meetings, events and shows where the club has a stand or club attendance.
Membership of the MG Owners club or ownership or a MG car is not a membership requirement.
New members must sign the application form including the GDPR waiver.
Members must complete the Data Protection and Privacy Consent form, which will be held securely for the duration of their membership and does not need to be renewed unless the member wishes to change anything or if the law changes.
Club communications will be via email, WhatsApp or messenger, members shall be BCC’ed in the general emails but may be included in the TO’ed on emails specific to a group activity where those members have joined into that activity or event and may need to communicate with each other and between the group – i.e a club holiday.
The LDMGOC WhatsApp group is a closed group chat with only paid up members permitted to join and participate. This is administered by the Secretary, Treasurer and their substitutes.
For a club holiday, outing or similar events, a dedicated WhatsApp group shall be created for just the members attending that event, this type of activity may also require an email chain where participants emails will be shared with the group i.e club holidays.
The club has a website www.LDMGOC.com where members can have articles published and images of recent events can be posted – reference to the club members Data Protection and Privacy Consent form shall be applied.
The clubs events calendar is located on our website.
Club members who leave the club will have their data securely deleted two calendar months after the AGM – this allows time for membership renewal and administration.
Club activities will be posted on the monthly emailed newsletter and via email and/or WhatsApp as well as on the events calendar on the clubs website.

entry into car shows and events:

• Car make and model, year of manufacture and registration
